3. Legal basis and purpose of the processing of personal data

The legal basis for the processing of personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation is the consent of the individual (documented, freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous) a contract to which the data subject is a party a legitimate interest of the controller (e.g. pre-contractual customer relationship, employment relationship, membership).
The purpose of processing personal data is to communicate with customers, to maintain the customer relationship, marketing, etc.

4. Processing of personal data

We process personal data in accordance with the data protection regulations in force in Finland. We process personal data (e.g. name, address, e-mail address, telephone number) in accordance with the law, for example, as a result of and in accordance with customer relationship or consent. We mainly collect personal data from users themselves in connection with forms and shopping cart information.

5. What information does Photographer Liisa Karling collect and store?

The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information.

If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

When you register for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number.

The name of the person, (company/organisation), contact details (telephone number, e-mail address, address), information about the services ordered and any changes thereto, billing/payment information, other information relating to the customer relationship and the services ordered.

The IP addresses of visitors to the website and cookies necessary for the functioning of the service are processed for legitimate interests, including for security purposes and for the collection of statistical data on visitors to the website in cases where they can be considered as personal data.

7. Regular data sources

The data stored in the register is obtained from the customer, for example, through messages sent via web forms, e-mail, telephone, contracts, customer meetings and other situations where the customer provides his/her data.

8. Regular disclosures and transfer of data outside the EU or EEA

There is no regular disclosure of data to other parties. Data may be published to the extent agreed with the customer. Some necessary data will be transmitted to third parties, for example to enable payment, delivery or marketing messages.

9. Right of inspection and right to request correction of information

Every person in the register has the right to check the data recorded in the register and to request the correction of any inaccurate data or the completion of incomplete data. If a person wishes to check or request the rectification of data stored about him or her, the request must be sent in writing to the controller. The controller may, if necessary, ask the applicant to prove his or her identity. The controller will reply to the customer within the time limit laid down in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (as a general rule, within one month).

10. Other rights relating to the processing of personal data

A data subject in the register has the right to request the erasure of personal data concerning him or her from the register (“right to be forgotten”). Data subjects also have other rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, such as the restriction of the processing of personal data in certain circumstances. Requests should be sent in writing to the controller. The controller may, if necessary, ask the applicant to prove his or her identity. The controller will respond to the customer within the time limits set by the EU GDPR (as a general rule, within one month).
