WHY SETTLE FOR THE EXISTING LIGHT?

A photograph is always the photographer’s view of the subject. When photographing a person, the subject appears as you saw them.

But the “meat on the bones” is how and with what technique you achieve the desired result. The best is when you can concentrate fully on the subject. When you shoot in natural light only, that’s true, but your images will never stand out from the crowd and you have very limited control over the contrast and mood of the image.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS TO MASTER IN THE SEARCH FOR YOUR OWN STYLE

• Seeing the light
• Combining dominant light and flash to achieve the desired result
• Contrast control
• Composition and perspective
• Model pose control
• Creating a relaxed atmosphere in a shooting situation

BENEFITS OF FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY

When you master flash photography, it doesn’t matter if you don’t get the shot at the right moment, for example when the sun is setting. You can shoot at any time of the day and there is no need to reschedule if the conditions are not as you had planned. You can decide how dark or light the background is compared to the subject. What kind and how strong the light is hitting the subject. You decide the mood of the picture. The mood of the picture is most influenced by the LIGHT.

I WILL SUPPORT YOU IN THIS JOURNEY

As the class progresses and you become familiar with these things, we will look not only at light but also at other things that affect the image. I will give you tasks appropriate to your level and we will proceed at your pace. The more you practice, the faster you will reach the next level.

When you’re commissioned for a shoot you’re unsure about, I’ll be there to support you and we’ll go over any issues that may come up beforehand. You won’t go it alone in your career. I want you to develop and succeed in your goals.  Having been a professional photographer for 30 years, including almost as many years as an entrepreneur, I can help you with almost any aspect of the industry.

I also understand how frustrated you can get sometimes if you don’t succeed.

Once you have already taken your skills a step further you can attend an INTENSIVE COURSE IN SPAIN.
